What can you expect when you are shopping for a wedding dress at Marilee’s Bridal?

  • A telephone or in person consultation with one of our expert stylists after you schedule your appointment so we can learn more about your wedding and what you are looking for.

  • Access to your own client portal where you can register your event, check out our lookbook and select favourites you would like to try on.

  • A full 1.5 hour appointment to try on dresses and say ‘yes’ to the perfect one for you - you will receive personalized one on one service from an experienced bridal consultant who is there to find the dress that you feel amazing in.

  • A beautiful collection of gowns from some of the top designers in the bridal world - Essense of Australia, Stella York, Justin Alexander, Dreams by Eddy K, Eddy K Italia, Casablanca and Beloved by Casablanca Bridal, Tania Olsen Designs, Alyce Paris and private collections.

  • The opportunity to try on a variety of styles in your size range - sizes available to try on from 6 to 28, with most available to order from size 0 to 38.

  • To find a dress to fit your budget - prices for orderable and in-stock wedding dresses range from $1000 up to $3500 with the average being $1900; and clearance dresses start at $599.

  • To allow 4 to 6 months for your dress order to arrive and allow an extra 2 months for any alterations you may require. If you need a dress sooner than that, rush orders may be available for extra fees or you may be able to purchase a gown and take it home with you on your first visit.

A nice variety of styles, sizes and colours and sale priced from 15 to 65% off. (A few styles may be orderable in a different size or colour at full price, they are listed below as “Stock dress on sale”). Below is a gallery of the current dresses on sale. Note: bridal sizing is between 1 to 2 sizes smaller than regular clothing, eg. if you wear a size 8, you might wear a 10 or 12 in bridal.

Bridesmaid Dresses

Every bride wants her bridesmaids to completely enjoy the honour of being a part of her wedding as they stand beside her, supporting her in the biggest decision of her life. However, when it comes to selecting the bridesmaids dresses, a bride and her party may have some concerns. These may be respective to price, colour, sizes, etc. We address all of these and provide an amazing selection of dresses for you to choose from. Designers include Sorella Vita,Kanali K and Jasmine Bridal. Our gowns come in dozens of colours, range in sizes from 0 to 34, and a variety of price points are available from $250 and up that are sure to please everyone's budget.

What can you expect when shopping for bridesmaid dresses?

  • A one hour appointment for you and your bridesmaids to come in and try on a variety of styles to figure out what looks great on them - extra time is provided for parties of 4 or more bridesmaids

  • Receive access to a client portal where you can register your party members and where you and your maids can view our lookbook to select some favourites that they would like to try on

  • A dedicated style consultant to help your maids with options

  • Gorgeous dresses in a variety of styles, colours and sizes so that everyone can try on a dress that fits -
    (we usually have one size and colour of each style with sizes ranging from 0 to 28 for trying on and some collections include sizing up to size 36).

  • Collections to fit a range of budgets from $250 to $400

  • Colour swatches available to view and take small samples home to match other components
    of your wedding

  • Once your maids decide on their style, measurements will be taken and orders will be placed

  • Dress orders may be paid in full or a payment plan is available upon request

  • Large parties of 5 or more bridesmaids receive a discount of $25 per dress

  • VIP brides get 10% off all their bridesmaid dresses in addition to the large party discount of $25 per dress

  • Orders take approximately 8 to 12 weeks to come in. Rush options may be available for
    some designers and styles

  • We suggest ordering dresses at least 6 months before the wedding to ensure you have time for any shipping delays or alterations needed

  • Special orders will take approximately 2 to 8 weeks to come in so plan on ordering at least 4 months out from your event

    members of your bridal party or 1st Communion

  • A nice selection of dresses from child sizes 2 to 12 (some styles up to size 16)

  • Dozens of choices for sashes and belts to match your wedding colours

  • Little ones grow fast so ordering closer to the wedding date makes sense, so we have made
    it easier for you with the collections we carry (as little as one month to receive your order)

The perfect time to shop for your accessories is when you select your gown but you can make an accessories appointment or select some when you are picking up and trying on your dress. You can purchase them and take them home with you the same day or place an order.

We have stunning Swarovski crystal and pearl necklaces, bracelets and earrings; You'll also find silver and rose gold and rhinestone bracelets and sets.

For your hair, we have fabulous silver, yellow or rose gold and colourful crystal and pearl headpieces, tiaras, hair combs, hair vines, flower crowns, clips and pins.

Veils include gorgeous lace edged, jewelled, beaded and sparkle cathedral, fingertip and chapel lengths.

Compliment your dress with a beautiful belt or add straps and don't forget your garter! Fur capes and wraps are perfect for that winter wedding.
